EamesPirational Chair_ity: My Name is Edward Elser, and I love working with metal. I am fascinated by the way it can be manipulated when it is hot, and how differently each type of metal reacts under the hammer. I primarily work with Steel, Copper, and Brass, but will venture into Aluminum occasionally. I love Art! It is truly amazing how shapes can dictate emotion. Sharp turns and jagged edges show anger, smooth turns and soft edges show love. It simply cannot be denied. In this album I document the process of modifying the already beautiful Eames chairs from the old Library that are to be sold at auction to benefit the Augusta Library.
