I collect colored damask tablecloths--some cotton, some blends (I think cotton/rayon)--and some have small rust stains. I've tried lemon juice as a removal agent without much luck. Someone from AOL suggested lemon juice and then let dry in the sun before washing. Since I live in an apt., that's not really practical. Someone else suggested using rust removal mixtures made for cars--I can't believe that is safe for textiles. I'd appreciate any advice. Also, I'm looking for damask tablecloth/dinner napkin sets in pale green or purple. If you can address either issue, please email me. Thanks.
