the backyard morning glory garden. the view at the end of folly beach towards morris island lighthouse.

the queen came to charleston harbor, no not that one, the queen mary 2. the torktown is only 2/3 the size of qm2.

paul at the folly beach washout. practicing tai-chi, note the sideikas tummy. fishing with the fishes, there have been dolphin and shark sightings where paul is fishing, but it looked like a goodd photo op. the reason he's not deeper is that the water temp is barely over eighty degrees, brrrrrrr! hope it warms a little by the middle of july. the vacation house looks great with patios and such but parking may be a problem.

just an update on the old motorcycle. i finally had a couple of pieces welded on the frame and stripped and primed and started the repaint cycle. soon, i hope, i'll start on the swingarm rebuild, bearings and seals, and i can remount the rear wheel. completion is still on track for september, late.

in honor of milk days, i wore this old timey shirt (circa 1984) and anne and i and friends, michelle and john went a cruisin'. of course it was hot out and they tell you to keep your liquids up so as not to dehydrate. fortunately we were able to stop at this remote, lightly used beach establishment. we also noticed christine's car in the parking lot, but she avioded us. i think that's her on the blanket next to the umbrella.

this structure was home made, yes really!! it was used to block the direct sunshine to keep the fish pond from growing algae. now we can see the fish as long as vincent doesn't go swimming too often.

summertime in the south showing the morning glories taking over the garden, the bird planted sunflower seeds starting their growth spurt and some flowers left over from last year that survived the mild winter

this guy put anything and every thing on this assembly. i was a the annual harley davidson dealers association spring bike week, as opposed to the black bikers bike week held the following week. there were many fine exhibits and vendors. there were some fine exhibitors aldo, mainly in the local bars. the new bike makes these trips easily with fewer gas stops and a little more reliability.
the air gobbling skull costs about four hundred dollars. too bad the bike din't have a theme to go with it, just chrome
