..7 posts below yours...Goodwill.

..now to these coins, ..old coins rarely have much value...unless they...meet certain criteria...
!-..are there any that are made of gold
2- are there any that are pure silver.or have a high silver content..
3- are there any Roman coins
4-are you an expert numismatist
from past experience...the seller will have sifted through this lot with a fine tooth comb..of that you can bet your boots on ..and any of high value will have been removed....If there are any coins from the UK...and if they are pre 1971...then this is what we class as old pre-decimal coinage...these coins will start at
1- Farthing..made of copper
2- Halfpenny...made of copper
3-Penny..made of Copper..
4-Threepence.x 2 kinds..one of Brass..and one with a high silver content..
5-Sixpence..pre 1947..high silver content
6-Shilling.....pre 1947..high silver content
7-Florin.......pre 1947..high silver content
8-Half-Crown..pre 1947..high silver content.....
9-Crown........pre ..1947 high silver content
10- Half Sovereign.- 22ct Gold
11-Full Sovereign  - 22ct Gold
any of the silver one,s above are worth money..only because of their high silver content
the gold coins speak for themselves...

for anything else...I think its Pot Luck...

These Pennies that are on Ebay....are Worthless..they have no intrinsic value whatsoever...and if anyone pays $12 for them...then they need their head looking into...

Even if coins aren't worth much for their actual monetary value, these days the use of coins in crafts/jewelry makes them highly desirable!  The effects of Pinterest!

Artx,, if you bid,, just stay with the minimum amount to start !! No need to pay more than that if no one else is interested !! Then if someone outbids you ,,you can increase the bid !!

Personnally when I look at lots like this, I break it down to the cost per piece,  and if you can get this lot for $120.00, that is pennies a piece for each item, anyway I would bet you will have to pay much more then that to get this lot.  Good Luck
