Title: Old US Coins and Rings
Post by: phatnguyen255 on July 27, 2013, 10:10:50 pm
I've got several US and Chinese coins as well as 2 very beautiful rings.

Anyone know about these? How about the price? Are they real or fake?

Coins:
There are three 1908 coins from France.
Another four coins from the US: two 1886 One Dollar Coin, one 1799 One Dollar Coin, one 1797 One Dollar coin.

And some other Chinese coins as well.

Finally, these are what i'm really curious about: beautiful ring in 1932. I think they are from gold, not sure about the red one.

I'll comment about one of the "U.S." coins you've posted , phatnguyen255 ...

The '1797 -seated Liberty- Trade Dollar' is a fake (trade dollars were minted from 1873) .

I'll suggest that you check out "The Black Cabinet" on-line ... it has a great database of counterfeit coinage !

The value of US coins are graded from poor to uncirculated ...... so just do a Google search to start with.

I’ve always been fascinated by old US coins and the stories they hold. Each piece is like a time capsule, offering a glimpse into the past with its unique design and historical context. Recently, I've been exploring vintage rings that feature these classic coins, and it’s incredible how they merge numismatic history with personal adornment. These rings not only carry the charm of bygone eras but also allow us to wear a piece of history.
