I'm interested to know if anyone can tell me any more information on this Piano Lamp. The only markings I can find on the piece say "Made in Italy." This is on the wooden portion, which I suspect to be older and perhaps a lamp was fashioned from the piece. Thanks for any information.

i think its as you already suspect...this stand and lamp are not a married couple...i,ve searched for piano lamps, and can find nothing resembling this,..from the looks of yours, the stand has had the 2 side lights, then someone thought about adding the centre one....see my link to piano lamps...

Agree. This is a portable tabletop desk that has been married with a lamp!
You see them remade these days even for use as a portable/tabletop art desk/easel.
I cannot tell from the pics if this is an older piece or one that is made to look older! They are able to age wood so well that so many times a "hands on" is better than a picture so many times.
Can you post a better close up of the candle stand on the side please?

I hope this helps

actualy think this is a Lectern...thats had the overhead lamp fitted to it....

It does look like a lectern or like it was intended as a Bible or dictionary stand. It looks too boxy for a piano, but it would be perfect for a large book.

It would work as a piano lamp for the Killer, ... Jerry Lee .........
