It is either brass plated or brass because there is a patina on it as shown in the second picture. I absolutely love it and my daughter keeps trying to run off with it. I have never seen one like this before. Wondering if anyone knows who would have made it and time period. I'm thinking 60's but not sure.

Yes the chain belts were popular in the late 50`s and 60`s !! But this is the first I have seen with crosses !! They all had something that dangled from them and were worn with the chemise dress !! The little straight one !! Not tight at the waist but loose enough to dangle at the hip !! Thus the reason for the dangles !! Hip movement !!

I have never seen a cross one before either. Funny my teenage daughter thinks it is the most awesome thing and wants to wear it out. lol It has come back in style.

That's why many women never get rid of out of date clothes !! If you keep them long enough,, they will come back in style !! Or could be the designers are recycling the styles !!

LOLOL Still have 2 from that time period that my daughter wears! However, these belts were popular again the late 70's and did some with 3 crosses on them.
Are the links brass or gold plated metal?
I hate putting this on here...but feel I should put all information. I faintly remembered something about a 7 Sins Cross Belt...and found one. But I don't believe this is one you have.

It is brass plated. That is basically the same belt. Good find!
