Hi guys.
Got this in the same lot as the items in the other thread I started but I felt this was a lot different. Let me know if I should have this in the same thread.
Anyway...I know nothing about this piece.
It is heavy. Appears to be solid wood with hand-done copper design mounted on the outside. Copper square measures 9.5x9x3.5".
Panther scene on the front. Textured everywhere else. Wood base.
I don't see it marked or signed anywhere.
I am guessing it's from the 1960s.
Is this just a random hand made/home made piece or is this something that was mass produced?
Thanks!

50`s or early 60`s !! The panther was a common theme in many types of lamps !! Especially the ceramic TV lamps !! I think you might do a little better than $50. if you could find a proper retro shade !! Would likely have been one of the parchment color oblong or square shapes !! May or may not have darker edging !!
