Hi,found this small suitcase while cleaning house. The maker is Chaney ,England, did my google searches but can't find this one. It is aluminum with a green vinyl outside.it measures 14" 9" 8" . Just curious to what it was used for, age? I know some old suitcases I worth a couple of bucks.

That would be a Vanity.

40`s through 60`s we used them for an overnight case when I was a kid but typically they were for ladies undies and vanity items !!

I knew them as train cases, late 60's early 70's. Think the maker is Cheney rather than Chaney.
