Title: Goebel Crafts of North America by Laszlo Ispanky Porcelain Figure
Post by: mygrandmasattic on January 29, 2014, 03:26:37 pm
Hi again - I need help identifying the name of this beautiful figure.  I have found some similar online but never this particular one.  If anyone has any knowledge about the name of this piece or any additional info / website leads that would be superb!  Thank you again.  Photos below ...

There appear to be other classical or mythological figures, some in editions of 350 or 700. Moses in an edition of 700 recently sold for $375.

Have you tried searching for Icarus ?

My advice would be to e-mail the company. I think i can see an impressed design number on the base.

Sold for $100, which seems a bit cheap. Production date is apparently 1970's although may have been reissued.
