Title: GUND Bears (Vintage) - NEED APPRAISAL!!!
Post by: Jarman on September 14, 2018, 05:02:05 am: If anyone is able to help me out and give me a ballpark appraisal on these vintage GUND bears, it would be greatly appreciated! I can't seem to find them anywhere online and I'm curious as to how much they're worth.

Post by: talesofthesevenseas on September 17, 2018, 06:20:55 am: I was able to zoom up on the plaque enough to see the upper plaque says "Creme de la Bear" which is a very high quality 100th anniversary commemorative Bear that was produced by Gund. For the anniversary they produced an old time jointed bear made from mohair (goat hair fibers). They sell for about $60 - $180 on eBay. But what you've got is a little different and I'm thinking this is some kind of store display, so it may be worth more. I can't find a similar example, but I would contact some toy collectors to get a sense of value.

1. If you asked to be notified of responses then you don’t need to come back to the forum because you’re emailed any responses.

2. So many people are used to getting an instant response from Google to any questions, they think they’re going to get a three or four minute response to their antique questions. I often think they’re trying to decide quickly on whether to purchase something or a price to sell something. Therefore they have either purchased or moved on.

I tend to find our conversations interesting whether they come back or not.
