Got this painting at a thrift shop. I believe it is an original. What kind of value would it have. It's 22" x 32".

There are many sources for reproductions of Russell's work, both hand painted and printed gilcee on canvas. The painted versions are priced fairly high. (The original 1913 painting would be in the six to seven figures.)

Looks like a department store repro !!

I am not sure what you mean by original. If you say it is an actual painting, and not a print, then I would agree with the others that this is a reproduction.
If you believe it is an original by the actual artist, I wouldn't believe so.

I was thinking that Russel "named" all of his paintings, ……. if so, …… just search for the "name" and find out who owns it.

Thats a pretty modern but inexpensive canvas !!

This painting is in the "Public Domain" so anyone that wants to can reproduce and sell copies !!
-
I should have said it was named that. There was a small tag stapled to it with the name. How can you find the owner of the original?
