Title: Charles Marion Russell The Collectors painting
Post by: icedgold10 on September 16, 2018, 05:48:19 pm: Got this painting at a thrift shop. I believe it is an original. What kind of value would it have. It's 22" x 32".

Post by: Rauville on September 16, 2018, 08:29:26 pm: There are many sources for reproductions of Russell's work, both hand painted and printed gilcee on canvas. The painted versions are priced fairly high. (The original 1913 painting would be in the six to seven figures.)

If you believe it is an original by the actual artist, I wouldn't believe so.
