Hello:
I have an antique chair that I want to list for sale but I need to find out the value.  I have attached a couple of pictures.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

This is commonly known as a slipper chair. it's mid victorian. it has been reupholstered. the low arm's allowed the the lady of the house to seat her self with her hooped skirt.

And put her slippers on. they make great corner chairs. $250.00 Dollars

Nice Slipper Chair....if you are looking at selling it...a recommendation....S easoned antique hunters will look at quality of wood, style, stability, etc.  New shoppers will look at visual condition a little differently....it appears that you have some decorative edging missing on the bottom/seat portion.  Thus the raveled material ends showing.  #1 Try and find the missing piece and reattach or #2 gently trim up the raveled end.  These little things can make a big difference!
