Title: Pub Table
Post by: Roger on August 13, 2009, 06:53:29 am
I acquired a pub table, 30 x 36 or 30 x 54 extended, in fine shape with four good chairs.
The only marking I can find on the table says "Harris Leeus Regd Trademark". There is also a heart-shaped trademark, with an "S" in the middle and the initials B and S on either side of the heart. There is also the number "1960" over the number "2001". Finally, there is a metal makers-mark, about the size of a quarter, circular in shape, with "Leeus Furniture" around the outside and "HL"
in the middle. With all this, I thought I'd be able to find out something about Leeus but I'm getting nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

The only Lebus I know of is Harris Lebus  (early 1900's furniture) England, brought Arts and Crafts style to the masses.

Please post a picture of the Lebus trademark and the metal mark.

Item 1960 out of 2001.
