Title: Dagger. Help with identification.

Hi to all,
I have bought this dagger on a flea market. Maybe anyone have information where this dagger could be used? Thanks.

Construction makes me think Phillipines, probably something brought back by a WWII vet.

It seems to have that Phillipines flavor .

I'd suggest looking for any letters/marks on your item , esp. 3 letters together .

Perhaps a Katipunan dagger (late 1800's to early 1900's) , or styled after one .

Too bad there's no sheath to give more clues !

I just got back from buying some items from the estate of an 82nd airborne vet and VIOLA,,more Phillipine items for comparison,
