Title: Dining table set

I would like to know if anyone could help me identify style, wood, value, era etc.
on this table, the leaves slide out of each end, I have never seen this before. I have attached pics.

Used to see tons of these , at 'container sales' , in the deep south during the 1970's .

They were commonly advertised as 'Pub Tables' .

Many English pubs closed & remodeled during this era & their old oak tables had a pretty fair market in the U.S. .....

....anyway , that's what it appears to be through my eyes .

These old boys could take a lickin' & still keep tickin' for many years - sturdy and tough .
