I collect "Czechoslovakian" porcelain. I will try to upload some photo's. The "Mark" on the backside shows a "bent arm holding something". Above the arm is written "EPIAG" Below the arm is written "Czechoslovakia". There is also the Roman Numeral V. I think it was made by a Czech porcelain maker Springer & Company in Loket, Czechoslovakia between 1920 & 1945. Am I correct? How would I find the name of the "Pattern"?
Thanks

czech, I think it's made by
"Haideinger Brothers Porcelain Factory in Elbogen
Vienna Porcelain and Earthenware Factory of Haidinger Brothers
First Elbogen Porcelain and Coal Industry - Springer & Co Marks"
Scroll down this page and you'll see several marks with the 'bent arm' with 'EPIAG' over the top.

The two most likely......(1920-1945)
The date would make it Springer & Co. There are some pattern names listed on the site for them.
-
Your pattern doesn't show up under the Springer & Co list on Replacements, but most likely is buried in this much longer selection
under Epiag. When you're really bored and have nothing to do you could go pattern by pattern, page by page and eventually come
across it.

I'm just going to do a quick search using the names listed on the site I gave you. ;)
**OK, no luck there......yours must be listed in all those Epi###, so it's a one by one search now. Sorry.

Can you please relate what the numbers are in a different color to the left of the maker's mark?
Just checked a few (honestly) and is this the same one?

czech, did you see the one I posted...do you think this is it?
It is a different number than what you gave me - betting 5523 is your pattern number.
-
Hello KC. The dish you show is not the same as mine. It is definitely # 5522. Is this the pattern #? Does a name come with the pattern number?
-
czech, I took both your pic and KC's, cropped and adjusted for exposure and some more clarity. (also rotated KC's)
I'm pretty sure they are the same pattern.
Note the 'honeycomb' design' surrounded by the ribbon.
