Title: Green Daisy Tea Set
Post by: notesinpockets on April 24, 2010, 01:42:09 pm

I received this tea set from my grandmother recently - she picked it up at a yard sale.  There are no marks that I can find, and googling has turned up zero info.  Anyone have any ideas as to the maker/age of the set?  It includes a teapot, four cups, milk and sugar bowls, and what I assume is a cookie jar.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I could only find a blogger who sold one teapot on Ebay late last year. But there was no info with it on pattern name, date, value etc. My mother had a very similar pattern with a white background that dated to the mid 1960's. I'm guessing that is probably the date of yours. Daisy things were quite popular then. But this is a guess on my part for lack of more solid info.

This is what my mom had:

This cookie jar found on Google images, appears to be the same pattern but a different color.  It is from an Etsy listing in 2008 but no selling price could be found.  Dated as "the seventies".
