Went ahead and attempted a couple of enhancements, so that everyone can see the lettering better.

Well , ALG , I noticed 'bubbles' in the bottom of the base of your item , which is one indicator of a cast resin item .

As far as any 'antique' value , I'd say your item is not old enough to fit this catagory .

Folks collect all sorts of nic-nack things , resin-cast items among them .
There is a little bit of a collector base for 'vintage' resin-cast items .

Resin-cast items imitate more expensive sculpture-type items made from metals , stone & ivory/bone & are sometimes purchased by folks who can't afford the real deal (also for home decoration purposes) .

I couldn't give you an idea about the value of such new-ish items , as I know not enough about them .
