hi im new to this site, i have come across this does anybody think its worth anything or is it worthless :-\

is there anything embossed on the other side? Spong grinders from England are worth quite a bit, but I don't see anything but London and the number on this.

These can vary in value depending upon the manufacturer. The Universal brand ones are quite common and I've seen them selling for about $12 but there are some that can go for quite a lot. I think I paid about $60 for mine, which was made by Winchester Repeating Arms Co. I've never seen one marked like yours, so it could be less common and worth some $$. If you run a search in the antique section of Ebay right now, grinders are ranging from next to nothing to a few that are listed over $100. If you have the attachments, that is another plus. Also if it is clean and fully functional. Can we get a photo of the opposite side of your grinder to help identify it?

Looks like "Spong" is the brand name. Here's a model #25 in very clean condition with all the attachments for comparison. We can't see what it sold for without a Worthpoint subscription though.
