I know little information about this bench. Would anyone have any information?

What is the size ??   Need closer shots !!  What makes you think its a bench ??

It looks like a credenza to me, although the blocked wood inside with the lift-top does look like the design of a piano bench, I don't think it is one, as you would bash your ankles on the lower shelf if you were sitting on it. Can you post some close up pics of the hardware? Also are those blocks held in with Phillips screws or slotted ones?

blocks are held in with philip screws. Measurement is 27 inch across x 2 feet high

It appears to be a fairly new end table !! The phillips head screws date it as a newer piece. Possibly 70`s to 80`s from style !! I think the top lifted just for extra storage !!
