I'll start small. The amber glasses with the silver overlay were a wedding gift of my husbands great Aunt. I am not sure of her wedding date. I know it was late in her life. Probably around the later 40's. I can check with family members. The one with the gold ball was an anniversary gift.
These were her favorite. The silver deposit stands 5 1/4 inches. The gold ball 5 3/8 inches. There are no marks and I was just curious to know anything about them.
Thanks

I love these green ones. The snifter stands at 3 7/8 inches. The other 4 1/4 inches.

I wish they were mine, GG! Those are nice ones too!

Nice Silver overlayed Stemware. Did a bit of looking in my books but nothing, I have or have seen the stems on the second set, I will have to go look on my shelves. Really nice pieces.

They are beauties, aren't they?
Thanks, ironlord...only look up the blue ones if you're curious or want to, as those aren't mine, just happened to see them browsing glassware and had a deja vu moment about snowflake's snifter. :) I'll bet your shelves are full of glorious books, though! ;D

Thanks, Ironlord! I checked at replacements but had no luck. Picked up a glass book but have to read it.

Yea went through the books I have and then on the net a bit and no luck. You can sure pick some hard ones Snowflake ;) As for I have lots of books, well not enough most times, and still want or rather need to get some more on stemware for sure. Been picking up lots of stemware items, and it seem most I can't find or ID, Wine Glasses can be hard for sure, almost as hard as Art Glass sometimes.

I think they must have entertained a lot and broken a lot of glasses, Ironlord. I have several pairs of different glasses I am sure were whole sets at one time. I don't know how anyone could need so many liquor glasses! They are only hard because I tried searching for them before posting and came up empty too. ;)
I really appreciate your help though! Still trying to figure out how to tell newer ones from older ones. Now that is hard!
