I have an oil painting that has been passed down to me from my father who passed away in 2005.
The only info I have is that it is a picture of the Bavarian mountains (with water at the bottom) that was where Hitler later built his summer home.
It was brought here from Germany by my grandfather - it was hidden in the walls so that the Nazi's would not confiscate it during their raids for valuables to support the war.
It does have a small hole in it & I brought it to be cleaned & repaired shortly after my dad died, but since they said the signature was illegible & could not determine the value, I should leave it alone.
If anyone has any info, please let me know.
