I have intentions of taking some more photos in the next couple weeks and maybe take them in RAW format. Editing should be a little simpler given the right software..

It's got all the original glass in it.. I looked around for some cabinet makers from that time era with the middle name starting with R with no luck. Most cabinet maker lists I found didn't include the middle name at all..

Are there cabinet makers to look for? I feel like if I knew what I was looking for, I would be able to read it. The first letter seems like a cursive G or F. Plus it's upside down and the glare on the unfinished wood makes it even harder to make out.

[edit] middle name definitely starts with an R

My grandmother has this piece that she bought second hand in 1944. She says that the cabinet portion is intended for the storage of medicine. There has never been any lacquer or stain put on the piece. She thinks it came from up north, maybe pittsburgh or somewhere of the like. There are pencil markings behind the drawers but it is in cursive and I am unable to make out what it says.

She's looking to sell it depending on what it's worth.
