the unit is very sturdy I am not sure what kind of wood it is I will post some more detail pis later today. The top and bottom unit have paper tags that have beed romed to the piont of not being able to get any info. somebody has marked the back of the 2 drawers with db1 and db2 and the unit has db mark in it as well. the lock and hinges have no markings the skeleton has a swivel handel and looks to be made of brass.

I came down to orlando from boston to help a friend who is in the hospital.One of the things he asked me to sell is this curio.It was handed down from his mom who is from australia. that is all I have to go on.
