I ran across a meerschaum pipe when i was cleaning out my dads house, and it got me intrested in it. It is a hand carved pipe mostly whiteish in color little yellow. the carveing is of a man sitting on a bench or logholding a boat ore in his hand and the other hand is up to his mouthlike he is sucking his thumb or chewing on something. The case is shaped in the form of the pipe and has a creamish/white color fur on the inside and a stamp on the top cover of case saying austria meerschaum and gives the letters RGC. I was woundering what RGC stood for, i couldnt find anything with meerchaum and these letters together on a internet search and i was also wounder about what time era it came from. Also if anyone would know price range, but price isnt that important to me since im not going to be selling. sorry dont have a picture but if dont get answered here ill take a pic and maybe someone will be able to help me better. thanks for all the help you can give.
