Oh, that's great. The famous coke we grown up with... and now here's it's origin! Cool. But there is something that made me curious. Somebody told we that at the beginning coke had green color... could that be possible?

That knife really looks like in the fairy cartoons... I absolutely adore the atmosphere they bring. And what about silver, I'm sure it should be marked too, but I can't tell you which would be an original mark. Although I think ironlord1963 is right, he seems to be quite sure about it. Thanks for the pics and the info.

Hi Danny! I also inherited a bed similar to this 3 years ago. I don't know the exact age, but I know that has about 90 years. I'm very proud of it, I even arranged a room with antiques, things inherited from my grand-grand parents. I'm a big fan of old things :)

I don't know much about this, but aren't there some antique shops? You could try there. Or at least research there something about its value. Or you could keep it, because an antique item its always a value! ;)

I like to read so much that I can spend even days reading and not even realizing how the time goes on. So I decided to see which book are you talking about, and I can say I'm glad I did so because I found it very interesting. Thanks, talesofthesevenseas for the tip, I think I'm gonna check if I can find it!

Antique Questions Forum / Re: Dining room table

Good question, because I'm in the same situation. My grand-grand mother owned a gorgeous table and now it's mine. It has scratches but they doesn't bug me so much, after all, that table has a history and that is the most important. The meaning of it, not the quality :)
Still, hope you will get a solution! :)

Wow, you sure have a lot of antique things... How big your garage is? ;) I would suggest to organize an auction, because there you could sell at a good price for someone who knows the values of antique things. or you could organize Good luck with it!
