« on: December 21, 2011, 10:02:26 am »
Hello all,

I have a few questions regarding this piece. It appears the signature is signed  BARTFAI EMLIK   OR  BARTFAI EMLEK? Bottom says 1698 BB?

How old is this?
Rare?
Who signed it?
Value?

Thanks to everyone in advance!

Antique Questions Forum / Sandwich Glass Boat......
« on: August 29, 2011, 06:42:17 pm »
Hello all, Im in need of some help....Need some more info on this sandwich glass boat. Most of all, I need to know the current market value. I was able to find this http://thecuriouseum.wordpress.com/2010/03/19/%E2%80%9Cbucket-list%E2%80%9D-treasures/ but really need to know current market value.

Has minor "knicks" on bottom, which seems to be usual considering the age.

Once again, I truly appreciate any help!

Need to see that label or paper as well as close up of bottom, if any marks on it !!  Baccarat is usually crystal !!  Have not seen anything like this piece !! Does the body part feel satiny ??

It was just a piece of paper that the owner had wrote that herself. There are no marks on bottom or anywhere. Yes, body feels a little satiny. Hope that helps.

Hello,

Can anyone help identify the Black man on this button? Appears to be wearing a suit and the button appears to be from late 1800's.

Thanks in advance for any help trying to answer this!

Antique Questions Forum / Band boy/Scot Guard Doll Question
« on: July 04, 2010, 12:23:03 pm »
Hello all,

I recently acquired this doll and cannot find anything to compare it to or even a brand. There is no name marking anywhere or a tag. I don't thinks its too old. I would just say "Vintage" but it's still interesting and wondering? It is 30" in height. The face is made of a plastic. I know that's not a lot to go off of, but that's all I got!

Thanks in advance & any help is much appreciated!

Antique Questions Forum / Doll question

Hello all, any thoughts on what this is? I recently got it at an estate auction and cannot find anything about it. The body feels like little beads/pebbles, the legs are a cotton, & the face is a plastic/rubberly feel to it. The hair appears to be yarn. I know little about dolls, just thought this is an interesting one. Thanks in Advance for any input!
