I have a cracker jar with markings on the bottom of "Hamilton Mfg Co. QUADRUPLE 5   7".   It has an ornate handle and lid.  The word "Crackers" is engraved on the side.  It is about 7" wide and about 6" inches high.  I'm wondering if this was a promotional piece of silver or silverplate. I don't know what the numerals reference. Or, which Hamilton Mfg Co. made it or when.
