Looking for information on a  ROYAL China Pattern from the l950's

The patterns is........ GREEN / WHITE PLAID

The Markings on the bottom of the plates say:

         "ROYAL China   M  54    UNDERGLAZE "

My Great-Grandmother collected these dishes for me from a Corner Groscery Store.    I think they came in boxes of Soap Powders?

But I'm not sure.......But she did get a dish each week.......

Please help if you have any information.
