My wife and I are looking at a Mass. 2-piece secretary in cherry wood exterior and drawers, pine for letter slots, in the original finish. The leather top has been replaced, one board on back was replaced, pulls are round simple wood, also in cherry. It is signed "F. lt. Walker", Southridge, Mass. We have been told that it is 1830 era piece.
Does anyone know who Mr. Walker is, what kind of furniture he has produced and can anyone give us an approximate value for this piece?
Thanks to any and all who can help us here!
