Antique Questions Forum / Can anyone help me?
« on: November 28, 2011, 10:30:37 pm »
My husband found this Bell system speaker that we were told came off of a police dispatch desk from the mid to late 1950's. There are no identifying marks on it. Can anyone give me any more info or tell me how much it's worth? Thank you for any help you can give me!

« on: January 26, 2011, 01:42:32 pm »
My husband's grandfather had this Ingersoll mantel clock for many years and we have been trying to find information about it, but we've been unsuccessful. We were wondering what year it was made and what it's worth. I've attached several pictures that might be helpful. Thank you

Antique Questions Forum / Help! looking for info
« on: December 27, 2010, 09:40:58 pm »
I have a old Chatillon spring scale/hand scale that goes up to 64 oz. and 2000 GRS. I can't find anything on this scale. I have found some similar ones but not this exact one. I'm trying to find out the age of this particular scale. I have not found one with the wording like mine has. I can find no other marks on this other than the words Chatillon New York U.S.A. engraved on the front. Can anyone help me out please? Here are some pictures of the front and back.  I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you!!!

I found this at Goodwill and I have tried to find out what it is but I have not been able to. It looks old but I don't know for sure. There are no markings on it anywhere. Here are pics of the front, back, and inside. It measures 3 1/2" at wides point and it's 1 1/2" tall. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you so much! At least I have some idea now. I just bought it today at Goodwill. I really love it too! I've never seen one like it. It will have a nice home in my display cabinet!

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I didn't even think about that. I posted a picture of the back of the bowl as well. Thanks again for the suggestion!  :)

Antique Questions Forum / I need help with unsusal bowl with no markings....
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:37:23 pm »
I have looked and looked all over the net and I can not find out anything about this bowl. There are no markings on it which makes it even more difficult. I've looked at all sorts of photos until I'm crosseyed. Can anyone help me out? The bowl is 8 1/8" in diameter and it's 2 1/4" tall. There is a built in hole close to the rim which is scalloped. The bowl is also a pearalized opal color type. I've attached a picture of it. I really appreciate any help anyone could give me. Thank you!!!
