Antique Questions Forum / dresden lamp base

Hi,
I have had a beautiful porcelain lamp since 1970. I do not have any of the history since it was given to me by my Great Aunt when I was a very little girl. She died about 20 years ago. My grandparents are gone as well. I believe that it is Dresden porcelain, but I'm not sure. It is a lady sitting on a cushioned stool looking into a mirror while her hands are fixing her hair. She is sitting on a brass(?) base. The figure is pretty big, about 12" wide and 10" tall. She has a beautiful gown that is rather full. Could someone tell me the origins of this lamp. I took it out of storage to put in my 3 year olds bedroom. Thanks!
