I know it's sojourner Truth and lincoln its a picture of a of a painting that got lost in a fire I saw one by perry that was made in 1893 but this one has no perry name. It did come from battle creek Michigan all the stuff I got from the estate did any help would be great I think Im gonna post on ebay but I wanted to check the Date of it more then anything.

The Front says "President Lincoln Showing Sojourner Truth The bible Presented him by the colored people of Baltimore" Executive Mansion, Washington, D.C., Oct 29, 1864

Antique Questions Forum / Re: value of ivory if ivory?

Hard to tell from a picture Best thing to do is the hot pin test. Take a sewing needle and heat it up till red hot. in an unseen spot probably bottom would be the best try and stick it in if its plastic it will smell like chemicals and go right in. if its Ivory It will not penetrate it. also the smell of Ivory will smell like the dentist during a root canal. If it is real you could be looking at $1,000 and up in my opinion. Even if its fake though it will still be worth a couple hundred dollars. I would do some research of exactly where and when it was purchased that could help.

If someone may know or send me a link so I can read a little more on these that would be great. thanks
