I have an old belt driven stone mill.It has 2 horizontal stones with what looks like a barrel encasing them. A homemade chute drops grain through a hole in the top stone and a small fixed chute on side where it discharges. It maybe 28" in diameter and the barrel part 20" high mounted on heavy beam frame. Weighs about 750 pounds and has a wooden pinion driven by a flat belt underneath. They used a Farmall H to power it and was in working condition when they last used it in 1974. I purchased the property in 1984 and have stored it for the son which is currently 76. He is wanting to do something with it. My question is how rare. what value, how to identify, is it something that should be in museum. I have it wrapped up for storage in 1990 and will be unwrapping to photograph soon. Can anyone help with this description.
