Hello,
Recently, on a visit to a flea market, I have purchased a newly-framed, unsigned portrait displaying a figure behind which there is a lake and a castle. The painting resembles the portraits of the Italian renaissance, and it seems it really is old. The salesman, however, knew only little of the painting's origins. Any further information would be most welcome.
The painting and close-ups can be seen at http://planet.nana.co.il/avivmaor
Thanks for the repliers.
