Antique Questions Forum / ivory,sterling,crystal eating kit-ever seen one?

This was found about 20 yrs ago in a purchased desk of an estate sale.  The desk was owned by a WWII veteran.  I do know it is real crystal and ivory.  I believe it is real sterling silver.  I don’t know what kind of leather the kit is made from.  It looks to be entirely hand made with no markings/ID with the exception of the little star imprinted on the leather.   All these years I have never been able to figure out a maker or value.  Anybody ever seen anything like this?  I can send better pics if anybody wants a closer look. Thanks if you can help.
