Hi, and thank you for the information. I tried to find a local chapter relating to this but none so far. Thank you again.

Thank you for the replies. Yes it is a Masonic penny which thanks to forums  i found on a web page. I know it was made right about the same time the village of river rouge became a city and was the first industrialized city in Michigan due to using the rouge river waterway. I found only one or two examples as there are MANY pennies, but not like mine which is sterling silver. The two I found, one being in a museum, the other had no price or much info. I can find many pennies but as said, mine must be a bit rarer. Any  info on it or links \collectors would be much appreciated. It's nice to finally have some info on it. I assume when a collector or dealer asks me to send it to them that is a definate NO?

  Thanks again, Paul

Hi, I have a token\medal that is slightly bigger than a quarter, half octogon half round. On one side it says, (river rouge chapter R.A.M. "on top half of circle" river rouge mich. "on bottom half of circle" T.K.S.H.T.W.S.S "in smaller circle in middle" NO"on left of little circle" 174 "on right side of little circle.)In middle it has (May 1923) On the other side there is some strange writings and a sort of grail with a rope over it. This item is most definately pure silver (or real close). It also has a hole that looks as if meant to be worn around the neck as a necklace type ornament. There hasn't been a historian or antique dealer\collector that I haven't contacted, and there were many, that could tell me what this is. Some asked me to send it but I refused.

Thank you for any info, Paul
