Antique Questions Forum / Maltese Cross...

Hi, Brand new to the forums, but, I have an important question about a World War 2 antique I inherited from my Grandfather...
...I can probably have a better description+a picture of it in the morning ((It's in my Room, and someone is asleep in there right now ^^;; ))...
But, I think it was a war Medal from an SS Soldier ((Nazi)). It's a metal maltese cross with a single O-ring at the top...in the center is a laurel wreath. Inside of the laurel wreath on one side is the Nazi symbol, and on the back is the year ((I THINK it was 1936 or 1938))....is ANYONE wise about war antiques?
It's in near perfect condition, with just a bit of Tarnish, and no rubbing-off of any of the Details or Symbols...
....I really don't like it. Bad Vibes and all that, so I'd be glad to get a good appraisal so I can try and sell this thing ASAP.
((PS--it ISN'T 10AM...I just have no IDEA how to set the time on this Thing.))
