That is definitely a mouthful haha the foot isn't broken just has some wear on the finish.  Definitely 3 toes in a very odd shape.  All 3 are identical shape.

Hi there - i am just wondering if anyone on the forum can shed some light on the age and/or value of this flip top table or any other information?  I have attached a few photos to hopefully help you.  Some information that may help - the legs are dovetaled to the main column.  The top is a single piece - the molding isnt a separate piece with the grains flowing into the molding.  The top is attached by a round tenon joint and has brass toned hardware.  It appears as though the block that attaches to the table top is a different type of wood from the tabletop.  The tabletop measures 1/2" less going through the grain than with the grain.  Thanks for any help :)

Hi again - I need help identifying the name of this beautiful figure.  I have found some similar online but never this particular one.  If anyone has any knowledge about the name of this piece or any additional info / website leads that would be superb!  Thank you again.  Photos below ...

Hi everyone!   ;D

I have just purchased this cool carved camel footstool from an estate and am looking for some information.  I have found some info myself online however the value of these vary drastically from $30 to over $500.  I do believe that this one is a more modern version and not a true antique but I am looking for the advice and knowledge of those on this board to help me identify its true age and/or value.  I'd love to know if this is something I should be putting my feet up on or if it's something I should put on display.   Thanks everyone!  Pictures below ....

Does anybody know the age based on the made in Japan mark?  I've seen other pieces with the same style mark and was curious on the date of manufacture.

Thanks!

It smells like dusty wood haha it's very clean inside - maybe it wasn't used often?

The pictures are all true - took them myself :)  the tip is very small but there were 2 other cues at the auction from the same lot with the same skinny style tip.  I've never seen a skinny tip like that before - Maybe it ws custom to the player?

Fantastic!  That is why I love this forum!  Thanks for sharing your knowledge :)

Thanks for the responses!  It appears to be a thick paper under close examination.  Has anyone seen anything similar to this anywhere online?  I'm stumped on value if any.

Thank you all for your responses - I do agree that it definitely looks to be some sort of incense or potpourri holder now that you mention it.  Still I am unable to find another like it online.  It is quite unique :)

Hi Mart,

We bought this at an auction because the case looked really unique and old.  It is owned by our shop.

Hi there!  We have a few items in the shop that we need some help finding information on.  We have googled the heck out of these and have come up dry - sometimes I have no idea what to even search for so ANY help is appreciated!  We will list these in 4 seperate posts just to keep the responses organized.  Thank you ahead of time for the help!

Last we have an old piece of china.  It is unlike anything i've had come into the shop - it appears to be a biscuit holder of sorts (a saucer with a finger hole handle).  I have no idea what these are called so it was very hard to research.  I'm sure somebody on here will have an idea on what the name of this is.  It is stamped made in Japan on the bottom side.  Help with the age and value would be appreciated!
