I don't know anything about them but I wanted to say that they are just lovely. I think they'd be spectacular in a little girl's room.

Thanks, I think that's what I'm going to do. I think I'm going to use it as a table instead of a desk since it's tough to use as a desk in this day and age. I may use it as a long bedside table since that's the trend right now anyway. Thanks for your advice!!

Thanks, that's about the price I had in mind too but since I'm not an expert with antiques I figured I'd ask. Thanks so much for your assistance!

Yes, that's where the crack is. There's also a scratch on the base. It is a pretty piece tough.

This desk appears to be a spinet desk from the 20s or 30s. It's in good condition for its age. I'm thinking of selling it since it's not the most practical desk in this day and age but it could make a beautiful entry piece for someone. I still have the original knobs, I put the current ones on for fun. What would you say I could sell this for in its current state? Here's a similar one on ebay for $650 but I've read that spinet desk don't have too much value since they were so common. Thanks so much.

I have a library desk that I'm curious to find out more about. The furniture label indicates that it was made by the Miller Cabinet Company in Rochester, NY. It seems to be from the early 1900s but I'm not entirely sure. I'm trying to decide whether to restore it or sell it. It has some issues such as a cracked base and someone seems to have put shellac on it. Pictures are below.
