Haven't been on for A WHILE here. Moved back to Pennsylvania after being in Florida for 2 years. Moved back because the wife was coming back with or without me lol. Living in the sticks with no internet so I'm in town at the library. But anyways I need help with whatever this thing is I found. You guys are good so I have confidence in you. My sd card is messing up so I only have 3 pics for now. The handle is maybe about 16 - 18" long. It has gears and seems to ride on a track or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and glad to be part of the forum again!

That's a cool story. I don't know about UK patents but the US started patent numbers in 1836. There were 9.957 patents before that but that's when they started numbering them. Cool story though, keep us updated.

Here is a quote from Prindle Station "A Prindle Station farm bell is a genuine C.S. Bell Company bell, cast from Mr. Bell's original 1886 patterns. The durability and quality is proven by the number of the original bells that still ring throughout the United States." But the measurements are a little different than the ones on this bell, for example the newer bells are 13 3/4" but this one measures 14 3/8". So one would assume this is from an early mold, right? Thanks for all the help.
