Just found this cool painting of a boat at Sea... signature is Gold.


Any clues if this has any significant value ?

I wonder whether they have any other significance in US? They seem to be selling well in UK

well someone might have given him this painting... any ideas where I can get further info... perhaps a historian who would know something....

I am sitting here baffled, trying to figure out what these are and the only link I have is on one of the framed one's there is the name " John Tyrrell". I am attaching the pics and hoping you guys can help.

Any other suggestions as to the maker or age of the painting. i have no idea as to the price or history of this painting.

Tested for silver came back negative, but I looked into it and they were very popular from 1900-1950 France. I still cant figure out the co.

Hi! We are in Brooklyn, NY. This painting was an inheritance from my husbands grandmother. I have no idea where she got it, but she loved old auctions. I m just trying to get the original painters information and perhaps a value of this painting.

In the painting I found initials, resembling S.J. or S.I. or G.I. or G. J. very hard to understand due to the age of the painting.

Its oil on canvas... in the back of the canvas are some names and its very hard to make out. I am attaching pics ...hope you guys can help. I tried looking but nothing concrete.

Interesting, I would have made a mistake giving the guy for 50 bucks... Saw another antique guy and he offered me 75.00 haha... will try the third guy, perhaps they'll raise it to 100. The second guy told me its pretty vintage and he has the perfect buyer for it.

I cant say its an ugly lamp, but I would love to provide it a new home. I have too many lamps as is and inheriting this one didn't help... Ebay here I come.
