Thanks so much! Yeah, that does look a lot like mine. I agree that I put a big price on mine, only because I didn't want it to sell unless I was sure of the value. I really appreciate the help.

Mom picked this up at a thrift store or yard sale for next to nothing. I think it might be something important, it seems very old & it is very heavy.. almost 5 pounds. I don't know if it is Chinese or what. There are no markings on the bottom. I have tried to find one similar on the internet and I can't find ANYTHING close. I'd appreciate any leads or info I can get. I put it on eBay but I think I am going to remove it until I find out what it really is. I'm including the link here for now because I don't know how to post pictures.
