Well I'm game, I will reach out to facebook P.J. Eckert.  Thanks for all the info.  I looked as well based on the research you did and I came up with what you found.  Since I am in New England this bottle is most likely from the Eckhert Brewery.  I did find another Eckert at a later date, Caroline that had a tavern in Camden from 1895-1896.  Fun stuff.

Thanks Greenacres, sure does look a lot like what I have.  Hard to tell exactly, the neck on my bottle seems a bit more stubby but it is very close. Certainly the same time period.  Appreciate your help.

 Some sort of pottery jug, 8" tall x 2 3/4" wide, has the name P. J. Eckert pressed into the pottery.  Any info would be appreciated.  Can't seem to find any direction to go in with this. Junk perhaps?
