??? ??? ??? Got no clue on the maker of this  item. It is about 15 inches high with the handle. I find it appealing for some reason. Trying to get identification and a value. Who can help me?

Thanks,

Mart, It is Porcelain and I know it is very old. The silver looks like silver leaf in its appearance. the painting is great and the piece has been kept in a 100 year old oak china closet most of its life. It is in perfect condition.

H. Morin also did a lot of work with air volume and flow. This looks like an instrument that would be mounted to a tripod (or transit pole) and would face into the wind using the fins on the back. The wind would turn the gears and you will notice the numbers on the side of the gears and a small pointer on each to read the revolutions or volume calibration (do not know the scale). The turning gears also lift the mechanical lever at some point.
This is a very interesting piece for an scientific instrument collector since It is made by Morin and I have never seen it in one of his books.

Ok gang, I have this vase that was my grandmother's parents. It was a gift. I know it is about 100 years old and handpainted. It is porcelain and covered in a metallic silver. It stands about 7" high. I have a few pix.
