Antique Questions Forum / Re: Is This Pitcher Old Or New?

It looks antique, however, without a maker's touch mark, name or any history, it remains a speculative lot.. Hopefully a glass expert will look at it.

This copper engraved plate has no makers marks.
I believe the engravings are of Assyrian kings.
It has nice green patina and would love to know how old it is.

I would say with the USA and a number, its most likely mass produced for export market.

Here is a pair tribal figures I picked  up at a fair last summer.
They have no visible markings on them but they are a good weight 12 inches in height.
I hope someone can tell me all about them!

All I can tell you is that its some kind of metal Ewer.. It looks like something from the Nader Factory in Iran.

Identifying Capodimonte is difficult. The factory didnt protect their backstamp so vast number of objects were re-produced in large numbers.

« on: April 01, 2012, 05:26:26 am »
This is a coffee set from Aynsley.
The pattern Number is: C1818/3.
which I have hunted on the internet for and had no luck. Even on replacements and similar web sites.

I know from the backstamp that it was produced in late 1930's.
I would like to know what its worth.
