Eli Harvey is a famous sculptor/painter. If you research him you will see that. Considering it was made in Paris in 1898 and considering the fact that most of his work is in museums; I would say it is something pretty special. But Im not an expert - which is why I am here! frogpatch - thanks for your info I really appreciate it. I guess I will have to find an art auction house near me to see what they say.

Hi there! Im wondering if anyone can give me any pricing on this sculpture I have. It is marked "(c)'98 by Eli Harvey" & "cottonwood". I did research and everything makes sense and appears to be authentic. However, I am having trouble figuring out a real value for it...

Thanks for the info!!! Still cant find this one (titled cigarette). However, last night doing research I'm pretty sure I came across the copyright records showing he copyrighted 30 works in 1916 and "cigarette" was one of them...

Ive never had it out of the frame, but I measured and its 7.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall. I'd appreciate ANY info!

Really? $75? I saw similar ones by the same artist and company going for 200-500 on ebay... And I couldnt find ANYTHING on this particular one. I read that there are some unknown works and I think this is a very rare unknown work. And (I think) the cigarette makes for even more of a taboo subject matter... I was hoping that would make it a real treasure.... Any more info any one??  THANKS!!!
