Both of these pieces are authentic Roseville pottery. The bowl is a Florentine pattern from the mid '20s and has the correct mark. Current value at auction is $30-$50, at retail $50-$80. The candleholder is Snowberry and has an auction value of $10-$20, and double for retail (value could be lower as they're usually sold in pairs.) The "paint" outside the lines is glaze run and happens very often in Roseville pottery pieces, and in some patterns is prized. Hope that helps.
