It's got a homemade look. I can't tell the size but it looks like it might be for a child. Possibly for school use? Anyway it's got some craftsman influence possibly early to mid 20th century. arts and crafts style in manner of a plantation chair design
looks like a Victorian fireside chair...circa late 19th century...value over here in UK...£100/£250In style could be as late as 1940s worth £300 in some shops !
Are you thinking about purchasing ?? Its a bit ornate for Biedermeier unless its a very late made chest !! Does it give the maker ?? How much are they asking ??I agree worth £300 -450 in UK
